History of United Safety - Celebrating 25 Years of Excellence
Incorporated in 1987, United Safety has grown to include full service branches throughout Western Canada and an International Division that takes United's safety consulting expertise around the world.
United Safety originated in the Alberta sour gas fields, providing safety equipment and services to gas explorers, producers, and process operators. In the late 1980's United expanded its workplace safety services to global operations, primarily in the offshore drilling industry.
Over the past 25 years, United Safety's industrial safety services have extended even further and include hazardous protective equipment, plant turnarounds, outage management, drilling, rig-less well operations, and pipeline operations. United has consistently demonstrated superior competency in these areas, and today specializes in providing industrial safety services in some of the most remote and difficult locations worldwide.
By utilizing a “listen to the customer” philosophy, United Safety consistently structures systems of industrial safety equipment and safety consulting that reflect the current realities of today’s work environment. United is positioned to be flexible yet determined to exceed the safety needs of its customers.
